(June 27, 2023) – Brittany Force, two-time and reigning NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series Top Fuel world champion, has been nominated for the 2023 ESPYS Best Driver Award for her performance in the 2022 season. The announcement from Carpenter cited the need to elevate the team's competitiveness. (Scroll down for the full statement).  Today, Carpenter [announced](https://www.edcarpenterracing.com/ryan-hunter-reay-named-driver-no-20-bitnile-com-chevrolet/) that Ryan Hunter-Reay has been named the driver of ECR's No. 20 Bitnile.com car. Hunter-Reay was the IndyCar Series Champion in 2012. He has amassed 18 IndyCar wins, including the crown jewel of IndyCar, the Indianapolis 500, in 2014. Most recently, he competed in the 2023 Indianapolis 500 with Dreyer & Reinbold Racing, leading eight laps in the closing stages of the race and ultimately finishing 11th. Hunter-Reay's debut for ECR will be at next weekend’s Sonsio Grand Prix at Road America on June 18th.
